YOUTHS AWARDED PRICES AFTER DEMONSTRATING TALENTED SKILLS IN THEIR DOMAIN OF INTEREST



Youths in the Badmenda I municipality and other destinations have been awarded prices after showcasing their talents base on, drama, singing, music, dancing, arts and craft, modeling, cinematography and photography. The award of prices that ranges from 100000cfa, 50000cfa and 25000cfa for first, second and third price respectively took place on Saturday 18, 2021 at the regional assembly hall in up station Badmenda.

This workshop is organized by RED FEATHER AWARD with the theme "Talent for moral civic and entrepreneurial rearmament" under the program YOUTHS TALENT CHALLENGE and sponsor by UNDP, with MINJEC and MINAC as partners. The workshop was to give some soft skills to youths on entrepreneurship, leadership, civic, and moral education. 

Nanda Danielle , one of the top award price winner in modeling urge her friends out there to be able to seize opportunities to display their talents.

During the workshop, talks dwell more on delinquency which is urging the youths to stay away from criminal acts, alcoholism and sexual immorality. A certain Mme Njoka during her presentation, advised the youths to have positive mindset because they can make a change in the society. This is because talented youths should equally have good morals in the society.  

The regional delegate of arts and culture in her own part tells the youths they can change their society despite where they came from. 

"We promise to sponsor such opportunities like this that deals with talents because we equally encourage talented youths, we are here because of YOTAC and this is the second time YOTAC is in Badmenda and we appreciate his efforts" says regional coordinator for UNDP 

The Youth Talent Challenge, YOTAC was created in 2013 with headquarters in Yaounde which seeks to detect and promote building talents in Cameroon. Giving them the opportunity to make a living from their God given talents and also to serve as positive influencers in their community
