FECAFOOT: Murum Devine elected delegate of fecafoot NW

 Murum Divine, president of Santos fc has been voted delegate of the fecafoot general assembly NW to join the 5 other delegates Yoye Bless, Fomum Victorine, Fai Salle, Soh Simplice, and Aghor oliver at the fecafoot national assembly. This is in accordance with fecafoot text, which stimulate that an executive does not occupy two positions. Mbigha Felix who is currently North West fecafoot president had to step down from the position of delegate.

 Murum Divine was voted delegate of fecafoot NW on Saturday April 9, in an extraordinary general assembly held at hill park hotel Bamenda. 18 clubs presidents voted fairly for the 3 candidates who contested and Murum Divine declared winner by the electoral committee with highest vote of 7 against 6 votes for Jani Benedict and 5 votes for Nji Nelson respectively. 

 Northwest fecafoot president, Mbigha Felix urge the newly elected delegate to work hand in hand with each member of the team to boost leadership among them. Mbigah Felix says Murum Divine was not his candidate for the position of becoming a delegate but now that he has become, they will work together to better the north west fecafoot bureau. 

 Speaking to the press shortly after his election, Murum Divine assures his voters that, he is going to ensure that atlets of the NW both male and female have the feasibility they need which he thinks it's going to count in their selection in the national team. "I am going to make sure we have a good representation from the North West region", he said. 

 The cry for a stadium in Bamenda is gradually becoming into reality as Mbigha Felix, North West fecafoot president assure clubs presidents of a befitting field in the region and stated that work will start barely after two weeks. This alone bring smile to the people of Bamenda, chief town of NW. 

The newly elected delegate added his voice to that of the president, "I am going to make sure that we have a field that is befitting the region ", says the region is lacking in the development of football especially in the coaching department and presence of NW footballers in different national selections both female and male.

 Mbigha Felix revealed that the NW regional league starts on Saturday April 6.

ATTACK ON MINISTER: NORTH WEST YOUTHS MARCH AGAINST VIOLENCE, DEMAND REPATRIATION OF ATTACKERS

Youths from the North West Region staged a peaceful protest in Bamenda on Friday March 14, 2025, condemning recent violent attacks on the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education and the Cameroonian Ambassador to Belgium.
