MINAC: Prof Fai Donatus Tangem Appointed Director

Professor Fai Donatus Tangem has been appointed new director of cinematography and audio-visual production at the Ministry of Arts and Culture. He replaces another research teacher Prof Georges Madiba in the position. He was appointed Thursday April 14. 

Speaking to the press shortly after his appointment, Prof Fai Donatus pledged commitment, support, and loyalty to the development of Arts and Culture subsector in Cameroon.

 "Naturally I appreciate and give all glory to God, the Head of state and the Prime Minister Head of Government for offering me the opportunity to serve my country in the position of Director of Cinematography and Audio Visual Productions in the ministry of Arts and Culture. To the minister of Arts and Culture, I pledge my complete commitment and loyalty to the development of arts and Culture subsector", he said. 

According to the new director, the appointment constitutes of an open invitation to come onboard as a servant leader, determine to bring a positive change in the promotion of the arts and culture and particularly in the cinematography department. 

Prof Fai Donatus before his recent nomination, was serving as lecturer of drama and theatre for Development at the university of Yaounde 1. He has been teaching in this university for over 27 years. Prof Fai Donatus is a native of Mbot, Donga Mantung division of the North West Region of Cameroon.

ATTACK ON MINISTER: NORTH WEST YOUTHS MARCH AGAINST VIOLENCE, DEMAND REPATRIATION OF ATTACKERS

Youths from the North West Region staged a peaceful protest in Bamenda on Friday March 14, 2025, condemning recent violent attacks on the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education and the Cameroonian Ambassador to Belgium.
